VNINDEX recorded a strong rally over a period of more than four months, from the middle of April to the end of August 2025, thanks to a surge in domestic capital flows and a return to net buying by foreign investors. However, the growing momentum has slightly stagnated after the Q2 earnings reporting season. While overall market profits reached their highest growth in six quarters, core earnings experienced a deceleration.
