The integration of green and sustainability assessment criteria into Green-SCF through incentive-based approaches that link financial benefits to measurable improvements in environmental and sustainability performance, is seen as a practical approach to connecting funding needs, risk management, and the sustainability objectives of both banks and corporates.

Alongside growing interest from banks in green finance, green supply chain finance in Vietnam is gaining momentum, supported by advances in technology, improved data connectivity across value chains, and enhanced risk analysis and assessment capabilities.

These developments form a critical foundation for SCF to evolve beyond a financing tool, helping enhance transparency, strengthen governance, and drive sustainable transformation across entire supply chains.
