ACCA Certificate Presentation Ceremony for FiinGroup and Event "Building Trust in Sustainability: The Role of Rating and Assurance in Sustainability Reporting"

Sustainable development is an irreversible global trend, and Vietnam is in the process of drafting and introducing key regulations and policies to promote green finance. These include the Government's Green Credit and Green Bond Taxonomy and the Draft Amendment to the Corporate Income Tax Law, which proposes critical incentives such as tax exemptions for income from initial carbon credit transfers, interest earned on green bonds, and proceeds from initial transfers of green bonds. 

In this context, and on the occasion of the official ACCA Approved Employer Certificate presentation to FiinGroup by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the two parties are co-hosting a high-level conference titled “Building Trust in Sustainability: The Role of Rating and Assurance in Sustainability Reporting” on May 9, 2025, in Hanoi. 

As a pioneer in financial data analytics and independent research in Vietnam, FiinGroup, through its subsidiary FiinRatings, has conducted independent evaluations of several green bond issuances by Vietnamese enterprises. FiinGroup aims to share insights, best practices, and frameworks to help businesses in Vietnam prepare effectively and maximize the benefits of their sustainability strategies. 

Over the past year, FiinGroup has supported international investors by providing analysis and evaluation across sectors with sustainable investment potential. In 2024 alone, FiinRatings delivered independent assessments for several green bond deals, including those issued by BIDV (post-issuance), Hoa Binh – Xuan Mai Water Supply Company, and IDI Food Company, in accordance with the Green Bond Principles (ICMA) and the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI) standards. 

The event is expected to welcome over 50 distinguished guests, including ACCA members, FiinGroup’s clients and partners, and representatives from corporations, financial institutions, and ESG-focused investment funds.
