UEH Enhances Education and Research in Economics and Finance with FiinPro-X

The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), one of Vietnam’s top universities in economics, business, and management, has made significant strides over nearly five decades - both in national education and international academic recognition. 

Recognizing the growing need for a robust and up-to-date financial data platform to support teaching and research, UEH has integrated FiinPro-X into its digital library system. This integration not only provides access to high-quality financial data but also empowers lecturers, students, and researchers to conduct in-depth financial and economic analysis. 

Since 2021, UEH has utilized FiinPro-X as part of the Shared Digital Library for Higher Education Institutions - a key initiative under the Improving Quality of Higher Education (SAHEP) program, funded by the World Bank. After the program concluded in early 2023, UEH made the strategic decision to continue funding FiinPro-X independently. This move affirms both the platform’s effectiveness in supporting academic activities and the university’s commitment to continuously improving education and research quality through investment in advanced tools. 

FiinPro-X: Vietnam’s Leading Financial Data Platform 

FiinPro-X provides detailed financial data on over 3,600 companies, including both listed firms and large private enterprises. The platform is equipped with powerful tools to support users in corporate analysis, real-time market monitoring, and access to macroeconomic data from authoritative sources such as the General Statistics Office, the State Bank of Vietnam, and the General Department of Customs. 

Key features of FiinPro-X include: 

• Corporate Data: In-depth profiles of over 3,600 Vietnamese companies 

• Stock Market Monitoring: Real-time updates on Vietnam’s stock market 

• Macroeconomic Data: Access to key indicators such as exchange rates, interest rates, and macroeconomic trends 

How UEH Applies FiinPro-X for Teaching and Research
