The negative impacts of the past two years under COVID-19 and geo-political tensions have spread to all economic sectors and are reflected in the business results of most FinCos in 2022. Although the market is on track to resume, the recovery trajectory remains bumpy given emerging challenges, especially the high-interest rate environment and deterioration in the credit quality of borrowers, which threaten both the lending and funding activities of CF players.
